 After five years without releasing a studio album French Inhumate comes back with "The 5th Season": an album elaborated with perfect quality in all the senses, mainly the extraordinary recording! "The 5th Season" is Inhumate playing like Inhumate, however it is Inhumate overcoming Inhumate! Confused words? Hear "The 5th Season" and you will understand, but first you should hear the other excellent albums of the band. "The 5th Season" impresses for the intelligent lcover: simple, but very well elaborated showing a human machine thinking, showing a contrast between the silence of the thought and the sonorous brutality that is approximating... Pressing the "play" you are buried by a GrindCore avalanche of the best sonorous quality... and unquestionable brutality. Inhumate disseminates a sonorous devastation of cataclysmal proportions through a sonorous structure constituted by speedy extraordinary riffs and incessant velocity. Don't think that "The 5th Season" is from beginning to end an equal album. No! "The 5th Season" is a super speedy album developed with technical brutal riffs, however it is an album with a sophisticated sonorous structure. When we thought about GrindCore, we imagined a sound of incessant velocity and without a lot of variations, just brutality... but "The 5th Season" is from beginning to end a speedy brutal album, but it is an album with excellent variations and developed with a lot of intelligence. To play with velocity is a fact, but to play with velocity and quality is a talent. And Inhumate has a surprising talent of playing with brutality and technique, elevating GrindCore at a superior level, showing that the style is much more than just velocity and brutality. "The 5th Season" has a direct sonority, however with many sonorous variations without losing the aggressiveness. "The 5th Season" has a sonority GrindCore that you never heard before, perhaps in Napalm Death first albums, but the quality compositions of "The 5th Season" is unbeatable in all the senses. Velocity, technique and quality are decisive elements and they are unquestionable qualities that "The 5th Season" has remaining. After hearing "The 5th Season" you will imagine GrindCore with other concepts, therefore "The 5th Season" is the sonorous perfection and the technical sophistication of one of the wildest and brutal styles that the human being gets to play.  "At War With... Inhumate" is a DVD to celebrate the fifteenth anniversary of this powerful French GrindCore band. If you don't know Inhumate or never saw a show, this DVD it is an excellent opportunity for you to understand that to be "do it yourself" it is not an option, but it is a talent! The band gets to survive for fifteen years playing in hundreds of shows and releasing excellent albums without entails with any recording (big or small). Inhumate is a band that exists for GrindCore, for Extremo Underground, being faithful to the style and showing that the attitude and the sonorous insanity are essential elements to survive... do it yourself, but do well done! And Inhumate does with perfection! All the albums of the band have excellent graphic and sonorous qualities allied to a destructor sonorous brutality! And this DVD is not different! On this DVD we have a show... and I admit: I never saw sonorous brutality like is Inhumate on the stage! From beginning to end the band gets to be destructive in all the senses! The performance of Inhumate is something impossible to define, therefore the sonorous brutality and the agitation of the band on the stage are incredible! The show was recorded with five cameras and perfect sonorous quality, putting you in front the stage! Like I said above: Inhumate live is a devastating band! During the fourth music the public "invades" the stage... and the band continues playing with total force! Congratulations, Inhumate, you are a young band... just fifteen years! And I am sure that the band has a lot of energy, will and inspiration to play more fifteen years without tiring! Brutal! Impressive! Sonorous devastation besides the human understanding! Perfect!  If some day you to need of an example DIY, think about Inhumate. The guys have a label only for the Inhumate. The guys take care of everything: contacts, shows, production, distribution and promotion. The cover is a crazy drawing! We entered inside of the booklet and we see all the lyrics e dozens of pictures live. There are some posters of the festivals and shows that Inhumate participated! Grind of destructive proportions! Inhumate, is a group very well established and possesses one of most extreme Grind of the planet! After it massacres we have a live track of almost twelve minutes... and the quality is also excellent! Then you place in the computer and sees a video of Obscene Extreme Festival 2003. I was afraid! It is a presentation insane, violent and fast! You must see the vocalist! I believe that the guy is prisoner in a straitjacket and it is freed only at the stage! Devastating!  Give taste to hear blows grind as Inhume, composed band for six integral and that triturate your bones with nineteen defecate poems, rotten and extremely brutal for delicate ears. " Decomposing... " possesses little more than half hour of pure destruction, without space for freshness, in themes that show every musical aggression imposed by the musicians, as for instance, the drummer with the bassist, form a smashing and cruel line with prominence for lines of bass. The guitarists help to turn the strongest hurricane while the vocalists (they are two) insert the serious parts and screamed still leaving the sound more nervous. The production is great and everything is heard with perfection and the graphic part is also perfect. Pure grind!!! (Fabiano)
