I Shalt Become
BAND: I Shalt Become
ALBUM: The Pendle Witch Trials
TRACKS: 09
LABEL: No Colours Records
Just affliction... it is felt hearing the nine tracks of this atmospheric doom. The recording quality is primitive sounding perfect with the album sonorous structure. "The Pendle Witch Trials" is a sadness abyss, leading us to a journey in the solitude deep waters through a morbid suicidal atmospheric. (Fernando)
BAND: I Shalt Become
ALBUM: In the Falling Snow
TRACKS: 10
LABEL: No Colours Records
"In The Falling Snow" was recorded in 1998 and all the instruments were played by S. Holliman. In the booklet has a phrase: "No ideology, no belief... just pained". And if it was the intention of Holliman, with certainty the guy got to show your feelings in this album. The recording quality is primitive and presents a suitable sonority with the album sonorous structure. The guitar just emits a heavy sonority while a keyboard feeds the sonorous structure with some morbid and dramatic thing. I cannot say that "In the Falling Snow" is a Black Metal album in the exact sense of the word, therefore even if this album has all the elements of the style, the final result is a slow depressive sound with a keyboard urging sad melodies. "In The Falling Snow" has Black Metal sound, but actually is a Doom Metal sound... or similar something. (Fernando)
