Heavy and shady are good definitions to explain "Last Moons" gothic sonority, therefore the band gets to melt black and heavy sonorities putting the melody in second level. When we thought about Gothic Metal we imagined depressive melodic tiresome sounds, but Desolate Ways gets to extract of the shady and heavy great sonorities. Desolate Ways is not a band of sad melodies, but it is a heavy band. "Last Moons" songs have versatility allowing the sound to flow through tireless sonorous variations, maintaining distinct elements in a constant convergence, approximating the weight of the technique and aligning the darkness with the rhythm.
