Thrash Metal is the only possible definition to explain the great ten tracks of "Legacy of Humanity", the first album of the paraense band Anubis, formed in 1994. The excellent graphic art is the context for Thrash Metal of high quality composed by the band, presented with sophisticated technique through a great recording. The timbre of the instruments is perfect for the sonorous proposal of the band: the riffs with an incredible sonority reach the apex of the song metallic structure through great Thrash Metal variations elaborated accurately. The bases have doses of velocity in the weight, increasing to the songs a larger definition on these moments, but also creating an expectation for the great riffs sequences that are present in whole album. The vocal line with a strong timbre shows us influences from Possessed, however with own vocalizations and sounding Thrash Metal in every moment. Instruments and vocal line converge the sonorous structure for a fast and heavy riffs and bases successions… and velocity in several levels. Anubis shows us in "Legacy of Humanity" a Thrash Metal developed accurately, putting weight and velocity in exact measures and maintaining the sonorous structure in an ascending movement, presenting competent and intelligent musicians that create Thrash Metal sonorities with an own style. I recommend. Excellent work! (Fernando)

Potent and violent Thrash Death Metal developed with fury, feeling and a lot of versatility! Anubis gets to show in four tracks that is a competent band, with creativity and will of playing. The fast riffs are Thrash Metal in the essence, however through the strong timbre of the guitars the riffs receive more force, almost assuming a Death Metal sonority. The bass and drums lines follow the constant sonorous evolution during the tempo changes, maintaining the weight and giving velocity according to the riff variations. Using a strong timbre and making a powerful Thrash Metal with a lot of changes and great Death Metal moments, Anubis gets to sound brutal and intense, feeding the fury and the velocity while maintains the weight. The hoarse vocal it is between Thrash Metal and Death Metal, making to stay a feeling that is very well put in the sonorous structure! But doesn't think that Anubis is a Thrash Death Metal band with a basic sonority and common to the style, therefore the band brings a lot of Classic Heavy Metal influences in the sonorous structure! In my opinion the band begins with praise, showing that has competence and creativity. I recommend! And stay attentive for Anubis! (Fernando)
