XTREEM MUSIC promotions

ATAXIA.F was born as a musical project in winter of 2003 with Alvaro (drums) (APOSENTO, RDT) and Joseba (guitar) then Potis (bass) (ETNIA) was incorporated and the proyect was consolidating and being even stronger. Finally, in summer of that year, the band was completed with Vaquero (guitar) (ALMORRAGIA) and Ivan (vocal) (VISCERAL) becoming a compact and stable band.
The music style that ATAXIA.F plays can not be classified in an only one genre, because of the different variety of musical likes and ideas of the members of the group have. However their style has a strong base of Death Metal that goes from brutal Death Metal to melodic Death Metal with some guitar riffs and hints of Black Metal.
In briones, a small village from La Rioja, they practice and are giving form to the group, up to recording in their own proper place, their first demo in 2004. They did not give it much promotion, but if was enough to start playing some concerts, and giving live shows in the underground scene. Until 2007, the band continued getting experience playing live and inmersed in their essay place, extracting new songs and retouching the old ones. At the same time they were enjoying the concerts in every pub and with every group.
Then, in summer of 2007 was when the band decided to enter into the Sound Source Studio in Idialzabal (Spain), where they recorded their first album: "Ataxia.F". On this album, they have included old songs and new ones up to doing a whole of ten. This fact made possible to record the classic songs with a better sound, which with the band had been identified themselves from the very beginning and with the new songs, they hoped to demonstrate the evolution and transformation in their musical style.
At the beginning of 2008, the album was released and the first reactions thus far, are being good and hopeful. Now ATAXIA.F is promoting their album with their sights set on playing even more live shows. In the near future the band will begin to record again, what will be their second album.

Torture Killer signed to Dynamic Arts Records

Finland's most successful death metal battalion Torture Killer has been signed to Dynamic Arts Records. Bands previous album Swarm! was released by Metal Blade Records. Swarm! introduced legendary death metal vocalist Chris Barnes from Cannibal Corpse and Six Feet Under on the front row of Torture Killer.
Torture Killer has been hiding in the catacombs of studio mixing the upcoming third album. Forthcoming album "Sewers" will be released at the end of February 2009. As posted earlier the previous vocalist Juri Sallinen is back on the line-up torturing his lungs for good.
Expect to see Torture Killer touring the Europe on Spring of 2009. First summer festival have been already booked; Legacy Open Air in Germany on May.

Italian outfit MURDER THERAPY have found a partner in Holland’s DEITY DOWN RECORDS (www.deitydownrecords.com/) in order to release the band’s debut full-length which is planned around the summertime of 2009.
The foursome comprised of FRANCESCO D’ADAMO (guitars, also in Cryptic Theory), vocalist RICCARDO MESCHIARI, bassist SIMONE ESPERTI and ANDREA CAVALIERI (drums), describing their style as Serial Death Metal, blends sounds and atmospheres of American Death with twisted, irregular and modern patterns.
MURDER THERAPY'S self financed 4-track EP "The Therapy" (2008) received good and enthusiastic reviews all over the metal community and was also awarded the status of Top Demo at www.metalitalia.com (Italy’s biggest and most known metal portal) and at www.xnoizemag.com. Finally!! After some weeks of negotiations, XTREEM MUSIC is more than proud to announce the addition to their roosters of one of the most legendary, true and classic Thrash Metal bands ever to come out from the german scene!! No other than the mighty NECRONOMICON!! Yes, the same ones that emerged back in ’83 together with bands like KREATOR, DESTRUCTION, SODOM… and that released three classic albums from ’86 to ’88 and later two more in ’94 & ’04.

The band has always been active and nowadays they even still have three out of the four former members from ‘83/’84: Freddy, Jogi & Axel plus Andi who joined in ’02. Now with their 6th full length album “Revenge of the Beast” they’re here to continue the legend with what’s perhaps their strongest album ever!! In opposite way as most of the “old glories” that are still alive trying to imitate their good old days and offering average albums, NECRONOMICON not only retains their very own style, but they offer a varied, fresh and powerful album that will take by surprise all fans of the good old german Thrash Metal.

It’s the end of a long search and NECRONOMICON did a pact with the spanish Thrash & Death label XTREEM MUSIC with his owner Dave Rotten. Now it's time to release the production 'Revenge of the Beast' for all the Thrashing maiacs out there! Finally!
Again it was a long and rocky road for the 4 guys from the southwest of germany. Very typical, very NECRONOMICON. The production 'Revenge of the Beast' was recorded long ago. Once it was produced, mixed and mastered by Guru Achim Köhler it became a damn jackhammer!
But they didn’t just leave it at one production: Out of thanks and respect to the fans, NECRONOMICON produced “Revenge of the Beast” on their own a second time - in the style of the 80’s. It was all done in Temple Studio with Oliver Noack and NECRONOMICON and sounds like it – raw and brutal. Both productions are being released together on a special limited double CD edition for the 25th anniversary.
Then the old question: Who is best for the band? And, as you know, this is not quite easy. After loads of talking and debates Freddy, Axel, Andi and Jogi made up their mind for the Madrid label XTREEM MUSIC.
Because of the sun and the nice climate conditions there? No, because of Dave who is a real fan of the band, the music and the whole Metal scene. Very authentic! And because Dave build up and manages a very nice label in a professional way an with lot of enthusiasm.
In the end it was a clear decision for NECRONOMICON and we expect a lot from the cooperation.

“Revenge of the Beast” is due for imminent release in December 15th on a first limited edition of 1.000 copies on double CD to celebrate their 25th anniversary. Mondongo Canibale records announces the signing of the italian outfit Opposite Sides. Formed by members of bands such as Baratro, Hortus Animae or Hate Profile, for the recording of its debut album "soul mechanics" the bands had as guest drummer to Diego "GroM" Meraviglia (Ancient, Doomsword, Psychofagist, Hate Profile, Hortus Animae...). Soul Mechanics is an original and interesting work, where gathers elements from death/thrash metal, industrial/electronics and prog music, the results is songs that are catchy as glue, technical, heavy and melodious.

INFECTED DISARRAY SIGN TO UNIQUE LEADER RECORDS

UK brutal death metallers Infected Disarray have signed a deal with US label Unique Leader Records. The band's debut album, 'Disseminating Obscenity' is set for release in February 2009.
Infected Disarray have been a cult band in the underground since 2000 but left behind their side-project status in recent years to move to the forefront of the UK scene. Moving schizophrenically between savage blasting and moments of crushing heaviness, extremity is the ultimate goal. The group's ranks also include members of Gorerotted, Detrimentum, Beef Conspiracy, Brainchoke and Twitch Of The Death Nerve along with the owners of Grindethic Records.
'Disseminating Obscenity' was mixed by Disavowed's Robbe Kok and features artwork by the band's vocalist, Eddie R. An advance rough mix from the album can be heard here
